We know about Flickr. I didn't know about the Most Interesting filter/setting/link until just now. So I tried searching for "sock" and clicked Most Interesting. Got a frog.

Not that knitters are unfamiliar with frogging (rip it, ribbit), but how is that that little green amphibian a sock? Wait while I search this page|next|previous in Firefox. Oh. The description includes "socked." Hmm. On the other hand, the next most interesting pictures often feature striped knee socks in sometimes unusual situations.

It will be interesting to see what this post looks like in Blogger; I clicked Blog This in Flickr as an experiment. Hope the picture comes through! Added later: Yes! The picture is in the post!

Overdue fibery updates include spinning some cat hair. Pepper was shedding her winter coat and a combing session produced a huge ball of clean, soft, undercoat, so I spun a tight single to be plied with a natural brown karakul single that's hanging around. More on that and other projects to come.
